Hey, I'm Ashley!

Ashley Purdy is the founder and creative force behind Rebel Salon in Whitefish, Montana — an edgy, innovative, and welcoming styling studio where individuality meets style with purpose. Ashley began her journey at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, where she developed a strong foundation in fashion and aesthetics. She honed her skills in Santa Monica, gaining invaluable experience in the heart of Southern California’s vibrant style scene.Her passion for holistic beauty and personal expression led her to mentorship with Aveda, eventually prompting a move to Seattle where she furthered her education at both the Aveda Institute and Gene Juarez Hair Academy. Ashley’s mission at Rebel Salon goes beyond the chair — her goal is to empower clients to build confidence through wardrobe styling that is age-appropriate, body-positive, comfortable, and uniquely their own. By teaching people how to work with what they already have in their closets, she helps them create cohesive looks that reflect their true selves.
